Growing up I had a mother who had her own problems with skin care products. She had a skin condition called eczema that left her with really dry patches. Nothing really worked for her, so as a child I would watch her almost every night when she brought out a big container of shea butter, a thing of goat's milk, little oil fragrances and create her own skin care products. Soon she passed those products down to me when she had no more use for them, and I would use them for my own personal hair and skin care. Watching my mom create her own products was truly inspiring, even when the market was not made for her, she found a way around it. I also grew up with cousins who made their own butters back then as well, but truly my mom was my biggest inspiration. Ever since that moment I've been creating my own body butters and moisturizers that actually hold moisture and keeps my skin feeling smooth. There are a lot of lotions business that dry you out before they moisturize you, and more than not they are the affordable ones. My mission is to replace those lotions with something equally affordable that also helps lock in moisture while also helping you smell fantastic, and if we happen to expand-- well, that's just a plus!
